Alli Cuentos

Alli Cuentos, Community Well founding partner, is a birth and full spectrum doula, family educator and early learning consultant. She has worked in schools, resource centers and community based programs across San Francisco for the last 15 years.  Her background in visual art, dance and somatics grounds her daily life and work in beauty and movement. Alli believes in people power and has grown up with a commitment to movement building and social justice. Alli lives in the Excelsior together with her partner, two kids, friend and parents. She is inspired by the collective vision in creating a safe and healing space in the city, where she and others can share their full selves with pride.  www.danzaclara.com


Catherine Marroquin

Catherine Marroquin, Community Well founding partner, has over 15 years of experience working with youth and their families in the Bay Area. Catherine worked with foster care youth for Juma Ventures in San Francisco as the Work Readiness Program Coordinator in 2001. After receiving her bachelors degree in Sociology from San Francisco State University in 2006, she continued community work with the Safety Network Partnership as a Community Organizer. In 2008, Catherine was hired at Mission Graduates as the College Connect Lead Counselor and was promoted to Director in 2010.

She has also been studying Curanderia for the past 4 years with a community elder and integrates her teachings with the youth and families that she serves. Catherine is extremely grateful and excited to launch Community Well with a beautiful community of women that share her dedication to healing her community and social equity.


Jennifer Moran

Jen Moran, Community Well founding partner, is a holistic massage therapist and doula who completely loves her work. She prepped for it by studying a variety of things- psychology at UC Santa Barbara, special education at San Francisco State, bodywork and energywork at The World School of Massage and Holisitc Healing Arts, and doula training through Doulas Of North America. Jen also has strong spiritual practices that guide her and her healing path. She has worked as a teacher for Oakland Unified School District and has always been committed to working with families. When she became a certified holistic massage therapist in 2000, she began actively envisioning a healing and wellness center in her future. So she is incredibly grateful and inspired to be working with women of such integrity and whole-hearted dedication to Community Well. Jen enjoys seeing her baby daughter Ava grow up with Community Well since they pretty much were born at the same time! Aside from work, she loves spending time with Ava and her husband Alan and playing outside. Jennifer Navarro-Marroquin

Jennifer Navarro-Marroquin, Community Well founding partner, is currently the owner of her own financial services marketing business.  She is aLicensed Financial Professional with a primary goal of sharing wealth building concepts & basic financial concepts with families so that they can thrive. She is also a Holistic Practitioner, Licensed Massage Therapist, Integrated Energy therapist, Rain Drop Technician, Reiki I. Through her practice she has helped many individuals return home to their natural state of happiness and fulfillment. Currently she has found a way to weave both financial education and holistic arts together to create a unique and valuable service. She is inspired by Community Well’s beautiful vision of collectively creating and defining community, though the spiritual practices of giving and receiving from one another. 


Leah Chalofsky

Leah Chalofsky is a psychotherapist who has launched her private practice at Community Well. Leah’s therapy practice focuses on reproductive and maternal health, anxiety, recovery from trauma, domestic violence, and adolescent challenges. Prior to becoming a therapist, she taught reproductive health to middle schools and high schools and coordinated a program that brought teen parents into schools to talk about their experiences. She feels grateful to have joined Community Well because it has allowed her to be a part of a community of practitioners who are working together to create a shared vision of holistic wellness. Leah feels inspired by the work being done by all the providers at Community Well, and looks forward to growing her practice in different areas.
