Traditional Limpias have been an essential part of our ancestral wellness rituals throughout history.

What is a Limpia?

A traditional limpia is a sacred ceremony—a rito rooted in our ancestors’ wisdom—designed to cleanse your spirit. Using sacred herbs, flowers, smoke, and pure intention, we sweep away stagnant energy and lo pesado—all the heaviness that builds up in our lives. This ritual helps you shed burdens and reclaim your center. Whether you are navigating challenges, grieving a loss, or simply moving through the seasons, a limpia offers the soulful support you need to walk forward with renewed purpose. It’s our medicine, our tradition, and we share it with you.

Nuestra Medicina Kalpulli understands the lucha (struggle) and the emotional labor our communities are facing right now. We’re here to hold a sacred space where you can release the heaviness and reclaim your clarity, focus, and presence. Our hearts’ work is to help you walk your path with a renewed sense of purpose and a strong spirit.

Tereza Iñiguez Flores

Nuestra Medicina Kalpulli is the integration of years of sacred teaching space shared by Maestra Tereza Íñiguez Flores and Maestro Ricardo Galvan. As co-teachers of the Nuestra Medicina Course for over seven years, they have built a Kalpulli of dedicated practitioners who have completed 3- and 5-year programs, learning to honor the wisdom of our Ancestral Medicina. Maestra Tereza’s 40+ years of experience and Maestro Ricardo’s 10+ years of community leadership in these healing arts serve as the foundation for this committed collective, who serve with clear intentional purpose.

For over 40 years, Tereza Iñiguez Flores has combined Mesoamerican (Curanderismo) traditional healing practices with contemporary healing arts. Integrative and intuitive, her work transforms the lives of individuals, couples, families, and communities seeking a healthier, more meaningful life; they find the inner knowledge of their true essence they need and are given the tools to solve their pressing issues in their day-to-day lives as they invite transformation. Reviving the true essence of the whole person by alleviating conflict, Flores offers a unique style of life coaching that uses a holistic approach to healing trauma, physical discomfort, illness, disconnection, soul loss, and depression.  Giving them the freedom to weave a colorful tapestry of self-acceptance, expression, and connection with purpose. www.tierramorena.net
